Each year, our Employee Awards recognize those Cofolx who stand out among their peers for embodying Coforma’s values and setting an example for everyone around them. These individuals were nominated for inspiring, educating, and uplifting others within and beyond our company.

Couldn’t Care More Award
This award recognizes an employee who lives our Care Code each day, demonstrating thoughtful intentions in their communication and interactions with others. Whether he’s supporting teammates, being generous with his time and insights, or engaging with partners, Senior Director of Engineering Brax Excell is known for his candid conversations, as well as his commitment to care and connection.
Approach Matters Award
How we work is just as important as what we create, and Senior Product Designer Kim Friedman has set the bar high in her approach. Kim views her work through a thoughtful, inclusive, and ethical lens, ensuring her work and processes are in scope with Coforma’s values. Her ability to navigate the day-to-day with grace and purpose inspires others around her to do the same.
For All Award
Inclusivity and accessibility are of the utmost importance to our culture, and Senior Content Designer Jamie Klenetsky Fay exemplifies excellence in these areas. Through an empowering mindset and inclusive practices, Jamie encourages others to embrace diverse solutions and approaches. Her everyday efforts help make our work truly impactful for all.
Public Servant at Heart Award
Our ethos is rooted in serving people and communities, which resonates particularly strongly with Director of User Experience Design Jess Jones. Her passion for making a difference shines through for her co-workers and has a profound impact on the teams she works with and the communities they serve.
Golden Taco Award
Consistent excellence, partnership, and support are the defining characteristics of our coveted Golden Taco Award. This year’s winner, Software Engineer Garrett Rabian, has a reputation for delivering high-quality work and reflecting our values while lifting up those around them. They deserve the supreme taco for their ability to collaborate effectively and inspire their teammates, even in challenging times.
Illuminating Our Illustrious Leaders
From thoughtfulness and collaboration to wisdom and grit, our next awards are based on manager input and are centered around the qualities that make a good leader.
Inconspicuous Initiator Award
The Inconspicuous Initiator Award is bestowed upon a worthy employee who regularly puts thoughtful solutions into motion. Though her day-to-day efforts may not be visible to many, Principal UX Designer Megan Holman’s work positively impacts us all. “Megan has been the consistent leader through recent project transitions,” says Senior Director of Design Ann Buechner. “I think she leads from a quiet perspective, but her work is crucial, and she is extremely deserving of this award.”
Co-Creator Award
The winner of this award thinks outside of the box and demonstrates new ways of working with peers, clients, project stakeholders, and communities. Project Manager Heather Widmont is known for deftly maneuvering project challenges and tailoring her approach to each new environment. “In all we have thrown at Heather, she has been regarded as excellent,” says VP of PMO Kat Allarde. “There is no stronger example of a co-creator.”
Lift All Folx Leader Award
Our final award goes to an employee who demonstrates leadership to those around them through their communication and actions, with an emphasis on empowering and uplifting others. Senior Director of Engineering Thomas Blackwell exemplifies this each day. “There is no finer servant leader within the organization,” says VP of Engineering Dan Miller. “We succeed because of Thomas’ approach to coaching, mentorship, and relationship building. This impact is seen on our staff, our partners, and our clients.”
