Public Interest

From the very beginning of the Direct File pilot, we wanted to test new ways to give taxpayers an easy, accurate and free way to file their taxes online directly with the IRS. We saw a strong response from the pilot, and Direct File’s users generally found it fast and easy to use. This is an important part of our effort to meet taxpayers where they are, give them options to interact with the IRS in ways that work for them, and help them meet their tax obligations as easily and quickly as possible.

Giving Back to Public Interest Communities

Coforma’s community impact extends beyond our project work. We make annual philanthropic contributions to support organizations that advance public interest technology solutions or directly impact communities in need in this space. We further this through relevant hands-on volunteering opportunities for Cofolx to directly give back to the communities we serve.

Making a Difference Together

Coforma employees enjoy volunteering with each other when the opportunities arise. We’ve cleaned up Rock Creek Park, volunteered at local animal shelters, and served meals at a Veterans services center together. This year, on our company’s annual volunteer day, small groups of Coforma employees are supporting their local food pantries as a way to connect and give back to their communities.
