The sixth iteration of NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP VI) government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) opens doors to a broader, more competitive pool of qualified vendors to modernize federal IT.
We are honored to announce that Coforma has secured a direct prime spot on this 10-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle.
“We recognized 12 years ago that the IDIQ world was changing, and trying to limit the number of companies based on some arbitrary criteria wasn’t going to work,” Joanne Woytek, NASA SEWP Program Director, told the Federal News Network. “It doesn’t make sense in this IDIQ world not to allow any competent company a chance to be successful, so we knew that would raise the number of awards.”
Coforma was selected to participate in this contract vehicle under Category B: Enterprise-wide Strategic Solutions. This category focuses on infrastructure-enhancing tools and services that keep agencies running smoothly, including cloud computing and managed services, as well as shared agency-wide systems, such as help desks.
This contract provides an exciting opportunity to extend Coforma’s work across the federal space. With a $20 billion ceiling per awardee, we’re well-positioned to work with client agencies and teaming partners to create transformative technology that makes a positive difference in people's lives.
“NASA’s SEWP program has spent over a decade opening the door to companies that compete on capability,” says Coforma CEO Eduardo Ortiz. “As a prime on SEWP VI, we can bring the same mission-focused approach we’ve used at IRS, VA, and CMS to a much wider set of agencies—because the real payoff of this contract is systems that actually work for the people who depend on them.”
The SEWP VI contract is slated to officially open for government-wide business on November 1, 2026.
Building on our track record of improving digital services for agencies like the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Coforma team is ready to help our partners scale their capabilities and better serve the public.
